Akshay Natural Harmony founded, for manufacturing, importing and wholesale supply
Jaipur, one year after arriving with no capital. A Delhi office followed in 2012.
I started behind a grocery counter in Parbatsar and spent seventeen years learning one thing: nothing scales unless you own the quality. That conviction now runs through nine units and five plants, from the farmer's field to the carton it ships in.
I come from a middle class family in Parbatsar tehsil, Nagaur district. I was in class 8 when I started work at a grocery store to help at home, and I stayed behind that counter through my 12th. Margins, credit, the face a customer makes when a price is wrong. I learned all of it there, years before I heard the word strategy.
In 2008 I came to Jaipur with a plan and no money, so I spent that year doing the one thing that costs nothing: market research. I joined a marketing team to watch the trade from the inside. A year later I had a company of my own.
I never wanted to sell somebody else's product with my name on the label.
Seventeen years on there are nine units, five of them plants we own outright. It was never a diversification plan. Each one was built to close a gap the last one left open.
Three commitments the whole group is measured against, written plainly because they are meant to be checked.
To build a community where people can reach their health goals and their financial ones without being made to choose. Good Ayurveda should not be a premium product. If a household in Nagaur cannot buy it every month, the job is not finished.
Science backed formulation and plain spoken education, and nothing on a shelf I would not give my own family. The word Ayurvedic has to mean something measurable at the plant, not something written on the front of a bottle.
Formulation, filling, packaging, even the farm inputs, each brought in house in turn. When quality slips there is no supplier left to hold responsible. That was always the point of doing it this way.
The moments where the shape of the business changed, in the order they happened.
Jaipur, one year after arriving with no capital. A Delhi office followed in 2012.
From here the quality carried my signature instead of a supplier’s promise.
Juice, powder, tablet and capsule, for a market moving toward prevention.
Soap, cleaners, dishwash, laundry, handwash and detergent. Things a household buys every month.
A consumer brand on one end of the chain, and the farmer’s inputs on the other.
Mono cartons and labels in Jaipur. The loop closed after eleven years.
Each unit exists to remove a dependency the one before it lived with.
Where it began. Manufacturing, importing and wholesale supply, with a second office in Delhi from 2012.
Kwath and juices, drops, capsules, powders, tablets, oils, avaleha, ointments and toothpaste. The year formulation stopped being someone else’s job.
The door everything goes out through. B2B supply, contract manufacturing and private label for partners across India.
Preventive health had become a daily habit rather than a prescription. The same discipline, in the formats the newer buyer reaches for.
Soap, floor and toilet cleaners, dishwash and laundry liquids, Ayu Herbal Handwash and detergent. Daily use goods that steady the year.
Plant growth promoters, Argi 99, Bhu Harit Prabha, soil conditioner and organic fungicide, all of it for the farms our herbs come from.
Wellness and beauty on Charaka Samhita formulations. Sun dried herbs from five states, glass bottles and contract farming.
The last dependency closed. Mono cartons and labels for healthcare, beauty and consumer brands, made in Jaipur.
Live with Ayurveda. The consumer facing range built for households that want the daily version, not the occasional one.
Most manufacturers own two or three of these. Owning all five is what lets us answer for the product at every stage.
Partner farms, with our own biofertilisers going back the other way.
Uttarakhand, J&K, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal and Rajasthan.
Our Rajasthan plant, judged on purity, composition and shelf life.
Glass for the wellness and immunity range. Juices, oils, tablets and capsules.
Mono cartons and labels from our own Jaipur plant.
Numbers only carry so far. This is the fuller picture: why Ayurveda, why manufacturing, and why the whole chain had to be ours.
